SPC is registered under The Data Protection Act 1998 ("The Act"). All personal data that you provide ("The Data") to us is collected for the purpose of enabling us to find suitable vacancies for you and will be treated in accordance with The Act.

We only disclose the Data to any possible employers who we believe might be interested in employing you and for which you hereby give your consent. We do not disclose any Data to any third parties other than prospective future employers and if required by law or other regulation.

We do not collect or use Data for any purpose other than that indicated in this statement. Please inform us if there is a change in your details. We will keep the Data for two years from the date we last provided services for you unless you request us to destroy your records any earlier. You can ask us whether we are keeping Data about you.

Upon request and upon proof of identity, we will aim to provide you within one week and without charge with a copy of the Data we keep about you. Should you wish us to amend or erase any part of the Data, we will do so, subject to compliance with any statutory requirements.


  • We only accept fees from client organisations
  • We agree a fixed fee at the outset to underline our total impartiality when negotiating packages with candidates
  • We maintain a strict off-limits policy with all our clients and never approach staff from those organisations
  • We declare at the outset where potential candidates cannot be approached from
  • We hold all information obtained from clients and candidates in strict confidence and only release information with their specific permission
  • We only accept assignments that we are highly confident of successfully completing
  • We re-run the assignment for no additional fee, should the successful candidate leave within twelve months of joining
  • We operate discreetly with a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • We believe our reputation for the highest ethical standards is priceless
