Advertised selection

When an advert is required, we would prepare a draft advertisement for your approval, typeset in the most appropriate style and provide advice on the most cost-effective media/internet sites, timescale and costs. We then conduct detailed face-to-face interviews with all the candidates who appear to match your requirements and submit detailed reports on the four best individuals, describing their qualifications and relevant experience, and also giving a subjective assessment of their compatibility with the job requirements. It is sometimes helpful to compare an internal candidate with a shortlist of external candidates.

Database search

Following a thorough briefing, we would prepare a detailed job specification and access our database to establish the number of candidates who appear to satisfy the requirements. We would then contact the potential candidates to confirm their interest and conduct detailed telephone interviews. A shortlist of four candidates is normally submitted within two weeks with a one page summary of our assessment attached to their CV. Finally we would handle all the logistics and follow-up procedures, including reference taking and qualification checks.
